Location: Kirisu Dairy Farm
In the morning of 24th April 2022 , CBFIs conducted a site visit to Kirisu Dairy Farm which produces fresh milk by using advanced technology in their product that has never been used before in Cambodia. The purpose of this site visit is to learn more about its business operations in the Cambodian market and the creation of its product.
Kirisu’s Dairy farm was established at the end of 2017. Kirisu Farm’s cow is one of the best dairy-producing cows, Holstein Heifers, imported from Australia. It is fed by the grown crop which is produced by the farm itself. With the vision “bring pure natural milk produced by modern agricultural technique and food preparation and processing under world-class hygienic standards to the Cambodian market”, its product has thrived in the Cambodian market.
The outcome of this study tour were:
To know the essential steps used to produce each product and the care that the company gives to its cows to ensure their fresh milk.
To learn about how the company first started its business, about its market in Cambodia.
How it managed to turn a profit even though operating the business requires a lot of money.
