C-BEAM is an academic platform for research at the intersection of behavioral economics and applied microeconomics. It is a project initiated by researchers from the University of Würzburg and brings together faculty and early-career researchers who study a range of interconnected issues, including education, organizational behavior, labor market dynamics, economic inequality, and the effects of digital transformation. Our work combines theoretical modeling with state-of-the-art empirical methods. Using a range of data and empirical methods—including laboratory and online experiments, randomized controlled trials, surveys, and administrative records—we aim to enhance the understanding and design of organizations, markets, and public policy.
