Currently, I am a professor at the İstanbul Technical University (TR). I was an adjunct professor at the Boğaziçi University (TR) between 2018-2024.

I am also working for the progress of science as an International Collaboration Board Member of the FCC project at CERN (SWI)

I am interested in a wide range of branches of engineering and science. My fields of research include but are not limited to coastal and ocean engineering, hydraulics, nonlinear wave processes and chaos, classical and quantum vibrations, synthetic aperture radar & sonar signal processing, acoustic propagation in fluids & underwater and computational & applied mathematics.
