Join us as we celebrate the ππππ‘ ππππ’π¨π§ππ₯ ππ¨π¨π€ ππππ€ from ππ¨π―ππ¦πππ« ππ-ππ, ππππ with this yearβs theme, "πππ πππ¬π, πππ§π ππ«ππ©, πππ ππ’π°ππ§π !" launched by the PLAI - National Book Week (NBW) 2024 Committee.
πππππππ. Knowledge is built through reading. It widens the field of knowledge, allowing individuals to know about different cultures, ideas, and perspectives. Importantly, in the Philippines, where supporting local publications helps Filipinos comprehend more about themselves.
ππππππππ. Reading makes one dream big because it fuels the imagination. One can imagine multiple possibilities that breed innovation and creativity. This prompts Filipinos to think about shaping themselves for their nation's future.
πππππππππ. The celebration of recognizing the power of reading and the dream it inspires. It's a celebration of knowledge, the opportunities that education provides, and the progress that the nation can achieve through informed and educated citizens. In parallel, it celebrates the nine decades of advocacy and joint efforts of organizations and people to promote reading and literacy.
