CATS LAB

Conformity, Attitudes, Threat, and Stereotypes Lab

About CATS Lab

CATS lab members focus on exploring identities derived from diverse sources, such as social categories (e.g., race/ethnicity, religion, gender) and personal attributes (e.g., opinions, beliefs). Our research delves into social identities, group dynamics, and inter-group relations across various domains. We investigate topics ranging from prejudice and stereotyping based on religious and non-religious affiliations, bias against gender and sexual minorities, conflicts arising from social identities, to strategies for mitigating prejudice through intervention science. Feel free to explore our publications to gain insight on the type of work we're passionate about!
