주식회사 디몽 (이하 '회사')은(는) 「개인정보 보호법」 제30조에 따라 정보주체의 개인정보를 보호하고 이와 관련한 고충을 신속하고 원활하게 처리할 수 있도록 하기 위하여 다음과 같이 개인정보 처리방침을 수립·공개합니다.
○ 이 개인정보처리방침은 회사가 Steam을 통해 제공하는 게임 「Cat Guardians」 및 「Cat Guardians Demo」(이하 '게임')에 적용됩니다.
○ 이 개인정보처리방침은 2026년 10월 20일부터 적용됩니다.
회사는 다음의 목적을 위하여 개인정보를 처리합니다. 처리하고 있는 개인정보는 다음의 목적 이외의 용도로는 이용되지 않으며 이용 목적이 변경되는 경우에는 「개인정보 보호법」 제18조에 따라 별도의 동의를 받는 등 필요한 조치를 이행할 예정입니다.
재화 또는 서비스 제공
게임 로그인 및 계정 식별, 게임 진행 기록의 저장, 멀티플레이에서의 이용자 표시, 게임 내 구매 처리 및 환불 대응, 서버 오류 조사와 부정 접근 방지를 목적으로 개인정보를 처리합니다.
게임 개선 (선택)
정보주체가 동의한 경우에 한하여, 게임의 난이도·밸런스 조정, 콘텐츠 개선, 오류 수정을 목적으로 플레이 통계·기기 사양·오류 정보를 처리합니다. 이 정보는 마케팅이나 광고에 이용하지 않으며 제3자에게 제공하지 않습니다.
① 회사는 법령에 따른 개인정보 보유·이용기간 또는 정보주체로부터 개인정보를 수집 시에 동의받은 개인정보 보유·이용기간 내에서 개인정보를 처리·보유합니다.
② 각각의 개인정보 처리 및 보유 기간은 다음과 같습니다.

① 회사는 다음의 개인정보 항목을 처리하고 있습니다.
재화 또는 서비스 제공
필수항목 : Steam 계정 ID, Steam 닉네임, 게임 진행 기록(챕터 기록, 선택한 캐릭터, 최초·최근 접속 일시), 재화·아이템·구매 기록(보유 재화와 아이템, 재화 증감 내역, 주문번호, 상품, 금액, 통화, Steam 거래 ID, 처리 상태), 접속 IP 주소
게임 개선
선택항목 : 플레이 통계(매치·웨이브 결과, 타워·카드·가디언 사용량, 튜토리얼 단계, 세션 시작·종료 사유), 기기 사양(운영체제, GPU, 메모리, CPU, 해상도, 언어 설정), 오류 정보(예외 유형, 메시지, 스택 해시)
② 회사는 이름, 생년월일, 이메일, 전화번호, 주소, 결제수단 정보를 수집하지 않습니다. 결제는 Steam이 처리합니다. 채팅·보이스 대화 내용은 중계만 하고 저장하지 않습니다.
③ 개인정보는 게임 클라이언트를 통해 자동으로 수집됩니다. 선택항목은 게임 시작 시 동의 화면 또는 게임 내 설정 > PRIVACY에서 동의한 경우에만 수집되며, 거부하더라도 게임 이용에 불이익이 없습니다.
① 회사는 원활한 개인정보 업무처리를 위하여 다음과 같이 개인정보 처리업무를 위탁하고 있습니다.

② 회사는 위탁계약 체결 시 「개인정보 보호법」 제26조에 따라 위탁업무 수행목적 외 개인정보 처리금지, 기술적·관리적 보호조치, 재위탁 제한, 수탁자에 대한 관리·감독, 손해배상 등 책임에 관한 사항을 계약서 등 문서에 명시하고, 수탁자가 개인정보를 안전하게 처리하는지를 감독하고 있습니다.

② 위 국외 이전은 Steam 로그인·결제와 멀티플레이 기능 제공에 필요한 것으로, 정보주체가 이를 거부하는 경우 해당 기능을 이용할 수 없습니다. 회사가 직접 보관하는 개인정보는 모두 국내(AWS 서울 리전)에 보관합니다.
① 회사는 개인정보 보유기간의 경과, 처리목적 달성 등 개인정보가 불필요하게 되었을 때에는 지체없이 해당 개인정보를 파기합니다.
② 정보주체로부터 동의받은 개인정보 보유기간이 경과하거나 처리목적이 달성되었음에도 불구하고 다른 법령에 따라 개인정보를 계속 보존하여야 하는 경우에는, 해당 개인정보를 별도의 데이터베이스(DB)로 옮기거나 보관장소를 달리하여 보존합니다. 계정 삭제 시 구매 기록은 Steam 계정 ID를 제거한 형태로 보존합니다.
③ 개인정보 파기의 절차 및 방법은 다음과 같습니다.
파기절차
회사는 파기 사유가 발생한 개인정보를 선정하고, 회사의 개인정보 보호책임자의 승인을 받아 개인정보를 파기합니다.
파기방법
전자적 파일 형태의 모든 데이터를 복구할 수 없는 방법으로 삭제 처리 합니다.
① 정보주체는 회사에 대해 언제든지 개인정보 열람·정정·삭제·처리정지 요구 등의 권리를 행사할 수 있습니다.
② 제1항에 따른 권리 행사는 회사에 대해 「개인정보 보호법」 시행령 제41조제1항에 따라 서면, 전자우편, 모사전송(FAX) 등을 통하여 하실 수 있으며 회사는 이에 대해 지체 없이 조치하겠습니다.
③ 제1항에 따른 권리 행사는 정보주체의 법정대리인이나 위임을 받은 자 등 대리인을 통하여 하실 수 있습니다. 이 경우 "개인정보 처리 방법에 관한 고시(제2020-7호)" 별지 제11호 서식에 따른 위임장을 제출하셔야 합니다.
④ 개인정보 열람 및 처리정지 요구는 「개인정보 보호법」 제35조 제4항, 제37조 제2항에 의하여 정보주체의 권리가 제한 될 수 있습니다.
⑤ 개인정보의 정정 및 삭제 요구는 다른 법령에서 그 개인정보가 수집 대상으로 명시되어 있는 경우에는 그 삭제를 요구할 수 없습니다.
⑥ 회사는 정보주체 권리에 따른 열람의 요구, 정정·삭제의 요구, 처리정지의 요구 시 열람 등 요구를 한 자가 본인이거나 정당한 대리인인지를 확인합니다.
⑦ 선택항목(플레이 통계·기기 사양·오류 정보)에 대한 동의는 게임 내 설정 > PRIVACY에서 언제든지 철회할 수 있으며, 철회 즉시 전송이 중단됩니다. 닉네임은 Steam 프로필에서 직접 수정할 수 있습니다.
회사는 개인정보의 안전성 확보를 위해 다음과 같은 조치를 취하고 있습니다.
정기적인 자체 감사 실시
개인정보 취급 관련 안정성 확보를 위해 정기적(분기 1회)으로 자체 감사를 실시하고 있습니다.
개인정보 취급 직원의 최소화 및 교육
개인정보를 취급하는 직원을 지정하고 담당자에 한정시켜 최소화 하여 개인정보를 관리하는 대책을 시행하고 있습니다.
개인정보의 암호화 전송
게임 클라이언트와 서버 간의 모든 통신은 암호화(TLS)하여 전송합니다.
접근 통제 및 접속기록 관리
서버와 데이터베이스는 권한 있는 계정만 접근할 수 있도록 통제하며, 서버 운영 로그에는 로그인 티켓·요청 본문을 기록하지 않고 30일 후 자동 삭제합니다.
회사는 정보주체의 이용정보를 저장하고 수시로 불러오는 '쿠키(cookie)'를 사용하지 않습니다.
회사는 온라인 맞춤형 광고 등을 위한 행태정보를 수집·이용·제공하지 않습니다.
회사는 「개인정보 보호법」 제15조제3항 및 제17조제4항에 따라 「개인정보 보호법 시행령」 제14조의2에 따른 사항을 고려하여 정보주체의 동의 없이 개인정보를 추가적으로 이용·제공할 수 있습니다.
이에 따라 회사가 정보주체의 동의 없이 추가적인 이용·제공을 하기 위해서 다음과 같은 사항을 고려하였습니다.

DMONG Co., Ltd. (the "Company") establishes and discloses this Privacy Policy under Article 30 of the Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea in order to protect the personal information of data subjects and to handle related complaints promptly and smoothly.
○ This Privacy Policy applies to the games "Cat Guardians" and "Cat Guardians Demo" (the "Game") that the Company distributes through Steam.
○ This Privacy Policy takes effect on October 20, 2026.
○ The Korean text is the official version. This English text is provided for convenience. For users in the EU/EEA and the UK, the legal bases under the GDPR are noted in Article 7.
The Company processes personal information for the following purposes. Personal information being processed will not be used for any purpose other than the following, and if the purpose of use changes, the Company will take necessary measures such as obtaining separate consent under Article 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act.
Provision of goods or services
Personal information is processed for signing in to the Game and identifying your account, saving game progress, displaying you to other players in multiplayer, processing in-game purchases and refunds, investigating server errors and preventing abuse.
Game improvement (optional)
Only if the data subject has consented, play statistics, device specifications and error reports are processed to adjust difficulty and balance, improve content and fix bugs. This information is not used for marketing or advertising and is not provided to third parties.
① The Company processes and retains personal information within the retention and use period prescribed by law or the period agreed to by the data subject when the personal information was collected.
② The processing and retention period of each item of personal information is as follows.
Steam account ID, nickname, game progress, currency and items : until you request deletion of your account (provision of service)
Purchase records (orders, payments, refunds) : 5 years after the transaction (Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce)
Server operation logs containing IP addresses : 30 days (service security)
Raw play statistics, device specifications and error reports : 25 months (consent of the data subject)
Aggregated daily statistics that cannot identify an individual : indefinitely (not personal information)
① The Company processes the following items of personal information.
Provision of goods or services
Required items : Steam account ID, Steam nickname, game progress (chapter records, selected character, first and last sign-in time), currency, item and purchase records (owned currency and items, currency ledger, order number, package, amount, currency, Steam transaction ID, status), IP address
Game improvement
Optional items : play statistics (match and wave results, tower, card and guardian usage, tutorial step, session start and end reason), device specifications (operating system, GPU, memory, CPU, resolution, language), error reports (exception type, message, stack hash)
② The Company does not collect your name, date of birth, email address, phone number, postal address or payment details. Payments are processed by Steam. Chat and voice content is relayed only and never stored.
③ Personal information is collected automatically by the Game client. Optional items are collected only if you consented on the consent screen when the Game starts or in Settings > PRIVACY, and declining has no disadvantage.
① The Company outsources personal information processing as follows for smooth service operation.
▶ Amazon Web Services, Inc. : operation of game servers, database and storage (Seoul region)

▶ Exit Games GmbH (Photon) : multiplayer and voice chat relay (voice is not stored)
② When concluding an outsourcing contract, the Company specifies in the contract, in accordance with Article 26 of the Personal Information Protection Act, the prohibition of processing beyond the outsourced purpose, technical and administrative safeguards, restrictions on sub-outsourcing, supervision of the processor and liability for damages, and supervises whether the processor handles personal information safely.

Purpose : multiplayer and voice relay
Retention : discarded when the session ends
② These transfers are necessary to provide Steam sign-in, payments and multiplayer. If you refuse them, those features cannot be used. All personal information stored by the Company itself is kept in Korea (AWS Seoul region).
① The Company destroys personal information without delay when it becomes unnecessary, such as when the retention period expires or the purpose of processing is achieved.
② If personal information must be kept under other laws even though the retention period agreed to by the data subject has expired or the purpose has been achieved, the Company moves it to a separate database or storage location. When an account is deleted, purchase records are kept with the Steam account ID removed.
③ The procedure and method of destruction are as follows.
Procedure
The Company selects the personal information for which a reason for destruction has arisen and destroys it with the approval of the Company's privacy officer.
Method
All data in electronic file form is deleted in a way that cannot be recovered.
① Data subjects may at any time exercise their rights to access, correct, delete or suspend the processing of their personal information.
② These rights may be exercised in writing, by email or by fax under Article 41(1) of the Enforcement Decree of the Personal Information Protection Act, and the Company will act without delay.
③ These rights may be exercised through a legal representative or an authorized agent. In this case a power of attorney in the form of Annex 11 of the Notice on Personal Information Processing Methods (No. 2020-7) must be submitted.
④ Requests for access or suspension of processing may be restricted under Articles 35(4) and 37(2) of the Personal Information Protection Act.
⑤ Deletion cannot be requested for personal information that other laws designate as subject to collection, such as purchase records.
⑥ The Company verifies that the person making a request is the data subject or a legitimate representative. We may ask you to confirm ownership of the Steam account in-game.
⑦ Consent to optional items (play statistics, device specifications, error reports) can be withdrawn at any time in Settings > PRIVACY, and sending stops immediately. Your nickname can be changed directly in your Steam profile.
⑧ The Company does not collect age. Users under 14 in Korea, under 13 in the United States, or under the digital consent age in their EU member state may not consent to optional items without a parent or guardian. If the Company learns that a child's data was collected without such consent, it deletes the data. Parents may contact dmong.v@gmail.com.
⑨ For users in the EU/EEA and the UK: the legal bases are performance of a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) for account, progress and purchase data, legal obligation (6(1)(c)) for purchase records, legitimate interest in service security (6(1)(f)) for IP addresses, and consent (6(1)(a)) for optional items. Requests are answered within one month, and you may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
The Company takes the following measures to ensure the security of personal information.
Regular self-audits
The Company conducts self-audits regularly (once per quarter) to ensure the safety of personal information handling.
Minimization and training of staff handling personal information
The Company designates the staff who handle personal information and limits them to the persons in charge.
Encrypted transmission
All communication between the Game client and the Company's servers is encrypted (TLS).
Access control and log management
Servers and databases can be accessed only by authorized accounts. Server operation logs do not record sign-in tickets or request bodies and are deleted automatically after 30 days.
The Company does not use cookies that store and retrieve the usage information of data subjects.
The Company does not collect, use or provide behavioral information for online targeted advertising or similar purposes.
The Company may additionally use or provide personal information without the consent of the data subject under Articles 15(3) and 17(4) of the Personal Information Protection Act, taking into account the matters in Article 14-2 of its Enforcement Decree.
Accordingly, the Company considered the following in order to additionally use or provide personal information without the consent of the data subject.
▶ Whether the purpose of the additional use or provision is related to the original purpose of collection
▶ Whether the additional use or provision is foreseeable in light of the circumstances of collection or processing practices

① This Privacy Policy takes effect on October 20, 2026.
② If the items collected, the purposes of processing, the retention period, or the outsourcing and overseas transfer arrangements change, the Company will give notice at least 7 days before the change takes effect through the Steam community hub and the in-game consent screen, and will ask for your consent again when the Game starts.
