Symposium on the Categorical Unity of the Sciences

22-23 March 2019

Maskawa Hall, Kyoto University, Japan

On the rare and precious occasion of Samson Abramsky's visit in Japan, we bring and unite together category theorists from different fields of science, who introduce cutting-edge research in their fields of expertise; the panel discussions further provide opportunities to debate the potential unity/disunity of the sciences via the methods of category theory, broader issues on applications of category theory to the sciences, and the very nature of fundamental concepts of category theory.

No registration is required. Limited travel funding is available; please contact the organizer as soon as possible if you need it.
