How do I play?
Tap Start, then spin the sphere by dragging it or by holding the arrow buttons. While the sphere is spinning, the cat and the rat switch lines wherever two lines cross. When the cat catches the rat, the line they were on disappears. Clear every line to finish the level.
I can't change the number of cats and rats.
Playing with 2 or 3 cats and rats is unlocked by a one-time purchase. Tap "+" under "cats" or "rats" while no game is running and choose Unlock. The buttons are disabled during a game; pause and quit, or finish the level, to change them.
I bought the unlock but it is locked again.
Tap "+" under "cats" or "rats" and choose Restore Purchase. Make sure you are signed in to the App Store with the Apple Account that made the purchase. You are never charged twice for the same unlock.
How do I get a refund?
Purchases are handled by Apple. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
There is no sound.
The game respects the silent switch of your iPhone: turn off silent mode and raise the volume. Also check the speaker button at the top left of the game.
Will I lose my progress?
Your levels and best times are stored on your device. They are kept when you update the app and removed if you delete it. A game in progress is saved automatically when you leave the app.

This policy explains what happens to your information when you use Cat & Rat.
The app does not collect data
Cat & Rat does not collect, store or share any personal information. It has no accounts, no advertising, no analytics and no third-party software that could track you. It does not connect to any server of ours.
What is kept on your device
Your progress — levels reached, best times, sound setting and a game in progress — is saved only on your device. It never leaves it, and it is removed when you delete the app.
Purchases
The optional in-app purchase is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Apple's handling of that information is described in Apple's own privacy policy.
Children
Because the app collects no data from anyone, it collects none from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
