FriendTree Fundraiser

Our annual FriendTree fundraiser kicks off September 1st!

FriendTree is a donation based platform, but unlike SnapRaise and GoFundMe, donating through FriendTree allows 100% of the money raised to go back to the students in our program. 

Our program heavily relies on fundraisers to cover the costs of our program

Such as the rising cost of transportation and fees for competitions and festivals, maintenance of instruments and piano tuning, new equipment like microphones and flags, coaches and accompanists, and more. This is our most important fundraiser of the year and helps us to make or break our budget.

This year, we are starting a show choir under the direction of Mrs. Weddle and would like to save money for costumes, props, and choreographers in the future.

The band and colorguard is also in need of props, harnesses and stands for drumline, and podiums for our drum majors to safely perform.

The best way to help support our program is to share our donation page with others and have your child take the time to create their own FriendTree page, choose a nice profile picture, make a video asking friends and family to support through donations, and asking directly through texts, calls, emails, and social media posts.

We will have individual fundraising incentives, group fundraising goals, and friendly competition between sections to see who can fundraise the most! Please be on the lookout for the fundraiser kickoff Sep 1!

Volunteers Needed!  

We need volunteers for our events, including football games and competitions! Any amount of help you can provide is valuable, and we welcome everyone to get involved! Even if you're unsure about what to do, show up, and we will assign you a task. There are volunteer sign-up sheets available for each event, so please keep an eye out for those. We are in need of donations of all kinds! 

Here is a list of some of our current needs; 

• Water donations during marching season. Cases of 8 oz water bottles.

• Snack donations for football games, competitions and practices. 

• Trucks and SUVs with towing packages. If you are able to volunteer please email Jason at CHSBandOpps@yahoo.com
