This datapack lets you play the famous game of tag with your friends on a server. A random player will become the seekers, and the other players hiders. The hiders have 20 seconds to run in a randomly selected 100x100 location while the seeker cannot move. After the 20 seconds, the seeker is free to simply touch anyone to make them the seeker. The game continues indefinitely, until manually stopped. There is also a 5 second cooldown between tags to prevent spam between 2 players.
Setting it up
Download the latest version below
Open the .zip file you downloaded
Copy the folder called 'terminaltag' inside of the ZIP
Paste it in the datapacks folder of your Minecraft world
Load the world you put the datapack in
You have succesfully set up the datapack!
Using it
When opening a world with this datapack for the first time, a welcome message will pop up informing you to use the command '/function game' to open the game's main menu.
