CashFlow Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 14, 2026

CashFlow (“we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the CashFlow mobile app handles information.

1. Information We Handle

CashFlow is designed to work primarily on your device. Depending on how you use the app, it may store the following information locally on your device:

- Transaction data (amount, type, date, category, notes)

- People/contact entries you create (name, phone, email, notes, photo URI)

- App settings (categories, filters, biometric preference)

- Security data (PIN stored securely using device secure storage)

- Device activation fields used for license/activation validation (such as Android ID, device fingerprint, and derived hash)

2. How We Use Information

We use this information only to provide app features, including:

- Tracking income, expenses, and balances

- Managing categories and people records

- Exporting data to CSV when you request it

- Protecting app access with PIN/biometric unlock

- Validating activation status on your device

3. Data Sharing and Selling

We do not sell your personal information.

We do not share your data with third parties for advertising.

We do not run third-party ad SDKs in the app.

4. Data Storage and Transfer

Your data is stored locally on your device (for example, in app storage and secure storage).

We do not require account creation to use core features.

If you export or share a CSV file, that action is initiated by you and handled by your device’s sharing options.

5. Permissions

CashFlow may request permissions only when needed:

- Photos/Media Library: to choose a photo for a person/contact entry

- Biometric Authentication: to unlock the app if you enable biometric lock

You can deny or revoke permissions in your device settings.

6. Children’s Privacy

CashFlow can be used by families and young learners. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children on our servers because app data is stored locally on the device. Parents/guardians should supervise children’s app use and any information entered into the app.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Data remains on your device until you delete it.

You can remove entries in the app, clear app data from device settings, or uninstall the app to remove locally stored data.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical measures available on the device platform (including secure storage for PIN) to help protect data. However, no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.

9. Your Choices

You can:

- Edit or delete records in the app

- Disable the biometric lock and remove the PIN

- Uninstall the app to remove local app data

10. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version at this URL and update the “Last updated” date.
