Cash Kaban ("the app", "we") is a personal budgeting app. This policy explains what the app does with your information. It is written to match the app's actual behavior.
Your budgeting data stays on your device. To measure app installs and in-app events, the app uses Adjust, a third-party analytics and attribution service, which processes device identifiers and app interaction data as described below.
The app stores the following only on your device: envelopes you create (name, category, money source, budget amount); expenses you log (amount, note, date); and app settings (language, pay cycle, reminder preference). This data is not uploaded to us. Deleting the app deletes this data.
The app integrates the Adjust SDK. Adjust may process:
Device identifiers — a pseudonymous Adjust device ID and the identifier for vendor (IDFV)
App interaction data — app installs, sessions, and the in-app events listed in App Store Connect
Technical data — IP address and basic device/app information needed to deliver and measure requests
Purposes: analytics and advertising attribution (measuring which campaigns led to installs and in-app events).
The app does not access Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA) and does not show an App Tracking Transparency prompt.
Adjust processes this data under its own privacy policy: https://www.adjust.com/terms/privacy-policy/
The app does not collect: your name, email, or phone number (the app has no account or login); bank or payment information; location, contacts, photos, camera, or microphone data; Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA); or the contents of your budget entries.
The app contacts our configuration endpoint (to decide which in-app experience to show), Adjust endpoints (for install/session/event measurement), and remote web content that may be displayed inside the app. All connections use HTTPS.
If you enable the optional reminder toggle, the app may schedule local notifications on your device. These are generated on-device and are not sent through any server. You can turn them off at any time in the app or in iOS Settings.
The app may request notifications permission, and only if you use the related feature. It does not request ATT/IDFA access.
The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone.
Adjust (analytics and attribution) — privacy policy.
Other than the service above, this version does not include third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
If this policy changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, for significant changes, note it in the App Store update notes.
