Kline Memorial Library has served Casey area children and adults for 85 years. Friends of the Casey Township Library has been re-formed as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization for two main reasons:

1. To raise funds for the needed expansion of Kline Memorial Library, which will finally make it accessible to all; and

2. To provide financial support and volunteers for ongoing and future programs at the Library.

We would be thrilled if you joined us! Your dues and the funds we raise together will help ensure that everyone in our community can continue to benefit from the Library for generations to come. Membership is open to all who wish to support the Library's vital role in our community.

Membership in Friends of the Casey Township Library runs from January 1 to December 31 and renews annually.*

Volunteering

The Library needs more than funding. It often needs volunteers. 

Friends of the Casey Township Library aims to supply helpers when they're needed.

Non-Monetary Donations

The Library has a number of programs throughout the year for both children and adults such as:

• The Summer Reading Program

• Mother Goose on the Loose

• Tuesday BINGO

• The Friday Gaming Club

Donations of water, snacks, and prizes are always appreciated. 

Memorials and Bequests

This is a nice way to remember the years of enrichment and enjoyment the Library has provided. Contact us to learn how you can make a bequest. 

• Membership dues

• Book sales (plus music, DVDs, puzzles, and games)

• Bake sales

• Gifts, grants, endowments, and bequests for the benefit of the Library

We want to hear your ideas as well!

We plan on having one annual meeting each year that will be open to the entire membership to discuss ongoing and future ways we can help support the Library and to elect the Board and Officers for the following calendar year. All Friends are encouraged to attend if possible.

The mission of Friends of the Casey Township Library is to:

• Raise funds for the building addition to Kline Memorial Library to make it accessible to all and expand the programs and resources the Casey Township Library can offer.

• Sponsor civic, cultural, educational, and literary programming at the Library. 

• Encourage gifts, endowments, and bequests for the benefit of the Library.

• Advocate for and promote the Library within our community.
