About Casey B. Ford, CPA:
Casey grew up in the area attending the GCISD school district at O.C. Taylor Elementary, Colleyville Middle School and Grapevine High School. As a student, he participated in the Varsity Soccer and Varsity, State Champions, Football programs and has been connected and involved in the GCISD district 25+ years. For his college education, he attended Baylor University where he received dual Bachelor’s Degrees, one in Accounting and one in Real Estate. Additionally, he played and started on the men’s club soccer team. He lived in Dallas prior to moving back to Colleyville with his wife and three children, two, of which, will attend school in GCISD this upcoming year, Fall of 2020. He is proud and honored to have his children learn their values and morals from the same great community that taught him his and where his mother was a teacher in GCISD for 35 years.
He has been a Certified Public Accountant since 2007 and currently, is a Tax Principal at Holthouse Carlin & Van Trigt, LLC, where he focuses on private equity tax planning and structuring from a domestic and international perspective. Previously, he has worked as a Chief Financial Officer for a large real estate development firm and worked at Ernst & Young, LLP. Both jobs provided him with financial analytical skills, budgeting & cash forecast experience, and day to day business operational insight, that will help him better serve the district. He has worked collaboratively with multiple multi-billion dollar organizations, across multiple industry sectors, to implement and achieve their strategic goals throughout his 17 year career.
Additionally, Casey served on church boards and finance committees, with multi-million dollar operating budgets.
