Special Discussion Meeting at 9:00 AM

May 21, 2025 – Meeting Minutes

Attendance: Karen Bradford, Shelly Crouch, Sharon Durham, Shawn Huisinga, Susie Mathew,

Chrissy Squires, Doug Stoutin, Librarian Gretchen Murphy

I. Discussion Call to Order: President Mathew at 9:00 AM

a) Discussion Opened: Librarian, Murphy

II. Contacted Architect, Gene Hatke of Cordogan Clark, about downsizing plans for new addition

a) $2,000,000 with new options and suggestions

• Downsize addition, move West & ramp; South walls “in”

• 1 Study room

• 2 Bathrooms, a Family and a Unisex

• Hold off on remodeling existing building,

• Any remodeling will be pay as you go

• Handicap ramp go along NEW addition on East and North side

• Keep first “moniker” idea, concrete engraved sign in front of current entrance

• Look into handicap parking on West side. Check with City for assistance

• Suggest checking on cost of heating porch and ramp concrete

• Cost per square foot

III. End of Discussion: Librarian, Murphy

a) Murphy will get a meeting set up with Architect
