February 6, 2025 – Meeting Minutes

Attendance: Karen Bradford, Shelly Crouch, Sharon Durham, Susie Mathews, Chrissy Squired, Librarian

Gretchen Murphy and Friends of Library, Tom Daughhetee

I. Call to Order: President, Susie Matthews called the meeting to order at 5:01 pm

II. The Consent Agenda. Motion made by Mathews, seconded by Stoutin, motion approved

 January 2025, Financial & Activity Reports

 January, 2025 Minutes

 Checks signed to pay bills

III. New Business, presented by Librarian Gretchen Murphy

a) Friends of the Library, Tom Daughhetee

- Daughhetee said there was nothing special to report at this time. However, there will be exciting

   news to report in March

b) Grain Belt Express Grant, Librarian Murphy

- Library received $500 Solar Panel Corp. Funds ear marked for kid’s programs

c) Per Capita Grant, Librarian Murphy

- Library will be receiving $5,000 in near future

d) IHLS Member Day, February 12, Librarian Murphy

- Reported all annual reports are completed

- Qualification training for reporting in graft forms

e) Memorial Building Fund Donation, Durham

- Scott VanDike will be donating $20,000 to the building fund, in memory of his wife

f) Clark Co yellow form via email, Librarian Murphy

- Board members need to complete this form by May 1, 2025

IV. Motion to adjourn at 5:26 pm.
