Drift through every twist and turn in the road in the 3D driving game CarX Drift Racing. Drifting is a key component in this game, and in some levels, your mission is to drift as far as possible to win points! That being said, in other levels your goal is to simply reach the finish line as fast as possible.

CarX Drift Racing Online is a game solely focused on drifting cars. Drifting is not my main interest and I'm not very good at it, so take everything on this page with a grain of salt if you already know what you're doing. On the other hand, if you're just starting out and having a terrible time controlling the cars like I was, then hopefully this information will be a good starting point for improvement.

Even though the Thrustmaster TX and T300 are very good mid-range wheels, I don't think they are quite powerful enough to drift easily at their maximum steering angles. The solution is to lower the steering angle to a point where it can spin fast enough. The wheel is going to be a little more sensitive, but it's the only way to get the wheel to turn fast enough for the large corrections necessary when drifting.

In this guide, we will first look at the settings you need to set in the Thrustmaster Control Panel, if playing on a PC. Then we will look at the in-game settings needed to make drifting easier and to improve the force feedback.

This game requires you to tune the car to be able to drift well. I followed this guide and had very good results. I'm sure there are plenty of other ways to do this that are even better, but this seems like a good starting point. The only change I made is bringing the Ackerman Angle down to 0%.

Steering Wheel Angle sets how far you can turn the wheel. I found this made the biggest difference in being able to drift. If this is set too high, the wheel just can't spin fast enough to change direction easily. 540 works well for me. 720 seems doable, but I found it more difficult.

As I said before, I am just a beginner when it comes to drifting. With the default settings, I could barely drift at all, let alone chain them together. After applying the tuning in the linked guide and lowering the steering angle, I can finally play the game just well enough to have fun with it.

CarX Drift Racing 2 is a 3D driving game where your main objective isn't to cross the finish line before everyone else but to get as many points as you can. And the only way to get points is by drifting like crazy.

I have an issue with the mileage not being recorded/saved during tandem drift in single player. Whilst grinding for exp I put well over 300km on a single car and that mileage was not being added to my profile. The grind becomes even longer in my case. I'm at level 27 with only 1,555km recorded on my profile. If I continue grinding exp in tandem then I can reach max level yet my mileage will still stay at 1,555km.

The odometer reading for the cars are also glitched in tandem drift. The main car I use has over 400km, and if I change to a different car for both runs in a tandem that other car has the same mileage reading as my main. I tested this out with a car I never even used before, so the counter on that car would be zero.

While I agree with your points, I have to say that the tracker(s) are the same or broken. I used the AFK method detailed in the guide to finish off the mileage and add exp in addition to actually grinding in the tandem drift. The AFK method has the car essentially doing a donut, so at no point is the car not actually drifting. ff782bc1db
