Crav is a mobile application that allows users to discover restaurants and place pickup or dine-in orders.

and restaurants use the Crav mobile application.
1. Types of Accounts
Crav supports two types of accounts within the application:
Customer Accounts – Users who browse restaurants, place orders, and make payments.
Restaurant / Business Accounts – Restaurants or food businesses that register on the platform to manage
menus, upload images, and receive customer orders.
The information collected may vary depending on the type of account used.
2. Information We Collect
When using the Crav application, we may collect the following information.
Personal Information
When users or businesses register or log in to the application, we may collect:
• Name
• Email address
• Phone number
Users may register using email and password or sign in using Google Sign‑In. When using Google Sign‑In,
basic profile information such as name and email may be collected from the user's Google account.
This information is used to create and manage user accounts within the app.
3. Location Information
Crav may request permission to access the device location in order to improve user experience.
Location information may be used for:
• Showing nearby restaurants and food businesses
• Improving search results based on the user's location
• Providing relevant services within the app
Location data is used only while the application is in use and is not used for continuous background tracking
or long-term storage.
4. Photos and Media Access
Restaurant or business users may upload images to their profiles.
To enable this feature, Crav may request permission to access photos or media files on the device.
This permission is used only when a restaurant chooses to upload:
• Restaurant images
• Menu images
• Food photos
Crav does not access media files without user action.
5. Order Information
When customers place orders through the Crav application, we may collect:
• Restaurant selected
• Items ordered
• Order details
• Pickup or dine‑in preference
• Order history
This information is shared with the selected restaurant so that they can prepare and process the order.
6. Payment Processing
Crav integrates with the Razorpay payment gateway to process payments.
Crav does not store sensitive financial information such as:
• Debit or credit card numbers
• UPI credentials
• Bank account details
All payment transactions are securely processed by Razorpay according to their privacy and security policies.
7. Third‑Party Services
Crav may use third‑party services to support app functionality, including:
• Google Sign‑In – for authentication
• Razorpay – for payment processing
These service providers only receive the information necessary to perform their functions and are required
to protect user information.
8. How We Use the Information
The information collected through the application is used to:
• Provide and maintain Crav services
• Allow users to discover nearby restaurants
• Enable restaurants to manage menus and images
• Process food orders and payments
• Improve application functionality and user experience
• Provide customer support
Crav does not sell or rent personal information to advertisers or third parties.
9. Sharing of Information
User information may be shared only in the following situations:
Restaurants
When a user places an order, the following information may be shared with the selected restaurant:
• Name
• Phone number
• Order details
• Pickup or dine‑in preference
Service Providers
Third‑party services such as payment gateways and authentication providers may process limited user
information to perform their services.
All service providers are required to protect user information.
10. Data Security
Crav takes reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user information from unauthorized
access, loss, misuse, or alteration.
11. User Permissions
Users can manage app permissions through their device settings, including:
• Location access
• Photo and media access
Disabling certain permissions may affect some features of the application.
12. Account Deletion
Users can delete their Crav account at any time directly within the app:
1. Go to the Profile page
2. Select the “Delete Account” option
3. Follow the on‑screen instructions to confirm deletion
Users may also request account deletion by contacting our support email.
we will immediately delete the user account and associated personal data such as name, email, phone number, and order history unless retention is required for legal reasons.
13. Data Retention
Crav retains personal information only for as long as necessary to provide its services and comply with legal obligations. If a user deletes their account, all personal data associated with that account (including name, email, phone number, and order history) will be permanently deleted immediately, except where retention is required by applicable law or regulatory obligations.
14. Children's Privacy
Crav does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.
If we discover that such information has been collected, it will be removed promptly.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
Crav may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
Any updates will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
Users are encouraged to review this policy periodically.
