step 1. go ahead and dowload the scratch project here:
step 2. get the scratch 3 player, witch you can download here *note, if you are using linux to read this, you can not play this file.* : https://scratch.mit.edu/download
step 3. now run the program by clicking "file" and then "load from your computer" now, you should see a notepad file saying "carrot os 1.4" or other versions, click on it and boom! you now have carrot os!

you will see a drawing of a hill as the backround. if you have 1.4 or higher. you can chage it by clicking on the ? icon, witch should look like this:
2. now, a menu will apear, put in your user name, and then your selected number of backround.
3. the write app is in the top corner, when you click it, you will be taken to a word prosseser, click on the "next line" in order to start a new line, and 2 to delete a intire line. you can exit full screen and right click the doc to save to yoour real computer.
4. the next app, the serch tool, is not a real browser, but rather a list of links to sites you can vist, for expample, i want to visit youtube. i would go and type "youtube" and i would get the result.
5. the calulator app, is a calculator. type in what kinda oparetoin you want to do. here is all of the things you can do: + = adding, - = subracting, \ = divison, * = multipulcation.
6. paint, is a tool very simalar to "ms paint for windows"
7. the planner tool is a progam with can help you plan, it's simalar to the "wirte" tool.
mods: you must have a good understanding of scratch 3.0 to make programs and mods, but here is some tools i use:
piskel: piskel is a program that alows you to make pixel art, use it for the app icons.
scratch 3.0 online again, a popular tool for sharing your work, in the projects download, youl see a link to a moding fourm.
saving: do a very close prosses to how to get it, here is what to do: step 1. go ahead and dowload the scratch project from the same window you used to install it, click on save, replace your egluar rom, "unless you don't want to use it again, " and your done!
