These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the mobile application Carplayer (the "App"), published under the bundle identifier com.carplayer.pipvideo, on iPhone and iPad devices. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Overview of the Service

Carplayer is a utility application that provides:

(a) Browser — a built-in web browser for browsing for YouTube, including an address bar and navigation controls;

(b) Video playback — tap-to-watch with native fullscreen through the embedded YouTube web player;

(c) Picture in Picture — continue watching via the YouTube player's PiP control where supported by iOS and the content;

(d) Shorts — a dedicated tab for browsing Shorts for YouTube;

(e) Settings — appearance preferences, app information, support contact, and clearing website data.

The App provides a web browsing interface. It does not host, upload, download, store, or distribute video content on developer-operated servers.

2. No Download or Storage of Videos

Carplayer does not download, save, archive, or store YouTube videos (or any third-party video content) on your device beyond standard temporary web browser cache. The App does not provide offline playback, video export, ripping, or a personal media library of saved videos.

3. Third-Party Content and Copyright

All videos, images, thumbnails, titles, descriptions, and other media accessible through the App are provided by third-party websites and services. Carplayer does not claim ownership of any such content. All copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights in that content belong to their respective owners.

Your use of third-party content is subject to the terms and policies of the applicable platform (including YouTube's Terms of Service) and applicable copyright laws. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with those terms.

4. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, solely for lawful personal use, in accordance with Apple's App Store Terms of Service and these Terms.

You may not:

- copy, modify, reverse engineer, or decompile the App except as permitted by law;

- use the App to access content unlawfully or in violation of third-party terms of service;

- download, copy, or redistribute copyrighted video content through the App in violation of applicable law;

- circumvent security or access controls;

- misrepresent affiliation with Google, YouTube, or Carplayer.

5. Third-Party Services

The App loads publicly available YouTube web pages. YouTube and related trademarks are property of Google LLC. Carplayer is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google LLC.

6. No Advertising; No Account Required

The App does not display third-party advertisements and does not require you to create an account with the developer.

7. No Developer-Hosted Video Service

Carplayer does not operate a video hosting, streaming, or download service. Playback occurs through the device's web browser component loading third-party web pages.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

- all videos will play in the in-app browser;

- playback, fullscreen, or PiP will be available for every video or on every device;

- the App will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Some videos may show a playback error due to platform or content restrictions outside our control.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE DEVELOPER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

10. Changes

We may update the App or these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
