This Privacy Policy explains how Carplayer ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the mobile application Carplayer (bundle identifier: com.carplayer.pipvideo) for iPhone and iPad.

1. Summary

- No advertisements

- No user account registration with the developer

- No sale of personal information

- No analytics or advertising SDK integration in the current App implementation

- No developer-operated cloud backend for core functionality

- No download or storage of video files on developer servers

- Preferences stored locally on your device

- Website data (cookies/cache) used by the built-in browser; clearable in Settings

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not operate a developer-hosted account system. We do not knowingly collect on our servers:

- name, email, or phone number through in-app registration;

- contacts, photos, or files for remote storage;

- downloaded or saved video content;

- advertising identifiers for ad targeting;

- behavioral profiles for marketing.

Support emails you send to support@carplayer.app are handled through your email provider; we use them only to respond to your request.

3. Information Processed Locally

Depending on features you use:

A) App Preferences

Appearance mode and browser-related settings may be stored locally using iOS UserDefaults on your device.

B) Website Data

When you browse the web (including YouTube), WKWebView may store cookies and cache locally to improve page loading. This is standard browser data — not saved video files. The app does not include a clear-data setting in Settings.

C) Browsing Activity

Pages you visit are loaded directly between your device and third-party websites. We do not receive a log of your browsing history on developer servers.

4. Apple Permissions

The App requests background audio capability so audio can continue during playback when the app is backgrounded. No Contacts, Photo Library, Camera, Microphone, or Location permissions are required for core features.

5. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age required for consent without parental approval in your jurisdiction.

6. Security

We rely on Apple's iOS platform security. You are responsible for securing your device and Apple ID.

7. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. The "Last Updated" date will be revised when changes are made.
