Welcome to Carpathian Crumb! I’m Calista, a passionate baker based in White Bear Lake. My journey into the world of heritage baking truly began during my honeymoon in Romania. While exploring the rustic villages and misty peaks of the Carpathian Mountains, I fell in love with the warmth of the local hearths and the simple magic of Romanian pastries.
In 2026, I decided to bring a piece of that honeymoon magic back home. Carpathian Crumb was born from a desire to share those old-world flavors while being able to spend more time with my family.
