I am currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Cognition and Learning Lab at Purdue University. I received my Ph.D. in May 2017 under the direction of Dr. Nicole McNeil in the Cognition Learning and Development Lab at the University of Notre Dame.
In my research, I aim to understand mechanisms of learning and determine how to optimize the learning environment to improve children's understanding of key concepts. My primary focus is within the domain of mathematical cognition. I also conduct research on the application of cognitive science principles within educational settings, broadly. You can find more information on my Research and Publications pages.
