If we were to point towards a rising trend in the horror genre, it would be the emergence of a new sub-genre simply known as Asymmetrical horror. Whether you are hunting down campers in Friday The 13th, tracking the imposter in Among Us, fleeing from the killer in Dead By Daylight, or even busting ghosts in Ghostbusters Spirits Unleashed. The genre is filled to the brim as of late with so many fantastic titles that let you not only be a survivor, but a killer as well. And now we have one more title to add to that lineup that is currently running a Kickstarter campaign: Carnival Hunt.

Set in an abandoned Victorian-esque Circus, Carnival Hunt finds players as tiny wooden bunny dolls as they try and escape from the carnival monsters. Bunnies will need to work together to overcome the challenges while helping each other out to escape. The circus itself consists of four levels and players must climb to each floor to complete increasingly difficult objectives and avoid the Carnival Monster lurking around.

Gehinnom is a multiplayer horror game for 1-4 players. collect clues and complete various quests to perform a ritual and banish the demon that hunts you. Everything in Gehinnom is randomly generated, so you will always be scared.

In Silence is a multiplayer horror game. One player takes on the role of the monster who has hypersensitive hearing abilities and is almost completely blind. The other players(2-6) play as survivors, trying to escape or hunting the monster.

Deep in the forest is the old manor. 4 innocents want to know if the myth of Ouija is true, but they never expect the presence of a real devil. Now they have to pay for their curiosity and for their lives because the Boogeyman is going to hunt them down.

Evil beings are lurking in workplaces for prey. Alone or with a friend, accept a job from a mysterious company to turn the tide against the darkness. Use security systems and CCTV cameras to survive. Decypher complex systems to hunt creatures and buy equipment to avoid a terrible death.

You awake to the sound of your own panicked breath. In Manhunt, you must run, hide and fight to survive. If you can stay alive long enough, you may find out who did this to you. This is a brutal blood sport.

Carnival Hunt's twist on the genre is that four mechanical 'Bunnies' must work together to survive, by winding each other up via a set of keys that have to be used up each round. At the same time, the 'Carnival Monster' will hunt the bunnies down, consuming their precious keys.

"Step into the horrifying asymmetric world of Carnival Hunt where one among you plays as the Carnival Monster while the others play as Bunnies. In the survival of the fittest, either the Bunnies will prevail in their escape or the Carnival Monster will succeed in their hunt.

The Magician is one of the hunters, he has some passive abilities and items that permit him to vanish, teleport and grab bunnies. Some items are randoms, the hunter can teleport only with magical boots found in the map while he steals items players find on their gameplay with command grab. During the operation the hunter can be helped by some monsters with different intentions each.

Wow, I did a scavenger hunt on the Freedom and it was NOT like this. We had teams and were given a list of items to find around the ship and one member of your team had to be in the picture and only ONE phone was used for taking pictures. Had to get creative on some and so glad that we had some younger ones with us because running up & down those stairs got old fast! We won a deck of cards and a SOS but we had a blast (about the other I have no idea!).

Indie publisher Crytivo has partnered up with developer Beer Night Studio to bring about a new multiplayer horror title called Carnival Hunt. This game looks like nightmare fuel with you all playing animatronic creatures from a carnival, four of you as bunnies and one of you as a ringmaster-turned-monster. All of you are required to wind yourselves up to move and have movement, including the monster, as you'll attempt to escape his grasp. The game is earmarked for a 2023 release, but first, the team will be setting up a Kickstarter sometime soon to help get it published. For now, enjoy the latest trailer!

"Step into the horrifying asymmetric world of Carnival Hunt, where one among you plays as the Carnival Monster while the others play as Bunnies. In the survival of the fittest, either the Bunnies will prevail in their escape, or the Carnival Monster will succeed in their hunt. Play in first-person POV, where no one has the advantage of situational awareness. You never know who or what is lurking behind you. Each side is struggling to survive. Not only do the bunnies need to charge to survive, but so does the monster. No two playthroughs are ever the same. To survive, you'll need a trustworthy team and perfect execution. Make use of our in-game positional voice chat. Bring friends, or find other players using the server browser. All players play in first-person, and nobody has the advantage of better situational awareness."

ST. PAUL (WCCO) -- Tuesday marks the 10th day of the St. Paul Winter Carnival treasure hunt and people were out in force. They are looking for the medallion in what appears to be a hot spot: Cherokee Park.

Embark on an unforgettable adventure through the chilling wonders of the Falling Star Carnival! In a daring twist, the carnival has set up shop in the frosty city of Stormreach during the bitter winter months. Join the eclectic cast of characters as they face treacherous terrain, unearth hidden secrets, and navigate moral dilemmas. With captivating storytelling and imaginative encounters, this book invites you to unravel the mysteries of the carnival, all while embracing the magic of the season. Get ready to be enchanted, thrilled, and left craving for more in this captivating tale that will transport you to a world where winter holds the key to extraordinary adventures.

Just wondering if there are any medallion hunters here. The 2nd clue comes out online in a few hours. If the clues match any parks, I might head out and do some searching. Prize for finding it is 10 grand with a button I believe. Good luck to those hunting.

Perfect for all of those horse crazy young girls and boys! A-Z makes it top priority to bring gentle ponies so that even the youngest child can enjoy a ride! Tickets sold on site, not part of carnival wristband.

The Pioneer Press Treasure Hunt has been a staple alongside the St. Paul Winter Carnival since 1952. Every winter a medallion is hidden and hunters rely on clues from the Pioneer Press to narrow in on the treasure, which this year includes a cash prize of up to $10,000.

As the Carnival Monster, players must catch the Bunnies before their charge runs out. By catching the Bunnies, the Monsters are able to recharge themselves to continue the hunt. Each Monster will come equipped with special abilities to fight against Bunny Teams. The Magician will be able to turn invisible and teleport to different rooms using his box. Similarly, Eyeball can be used to verify if Bunny corpses are players trying to hide or one of the generated bodies. However, this action takes valuable time.

We ourselves had given up the search for the carnival and had settled on searching for a late Sunday afternoon Aperol-buzz instead. After a Friday with impressive dance performances but disappointingly no parade along the streets and now this Sunday with the scheduled parade along the streets nowhere to be seen, we decided to stop searching and let the carnival come to us.

It was after yet another couple of hours, searching for some organised partying, that we had given up and ordered some Aperol instead. It was when we stopped searching that the carnival began. Not because a dance suddenly started, but because we could acknowledge, that this was a party for all ages and for all nationalities.

Tourists like us were strolling up and down the street looking for a carnival, while children were parading in costumes worthy of a Venetian ball. Families got together to have a good time, fit Italian looking mothers with tight jeans, high heeled boots and black sunglasses promenaded around with baby strollers, and the elderly looked at the commotion with equal part scepticism and fascination.
