Carnaby Retreat is a great base to visit the East Coast, Hornsea, Filey, Flamborough, Scarborough & Whitby. Not forgetting the Yorkshire Wolds, North York Moors & steam railway. We are located in a quiet corner of a small hamlet of holiday homes, approx 2 miles from the centre of Bridlington, only a few mins drive from Carnaby.

The nearest unspoilt beaches are Wilsthorpe and Fraisthorpe both dog friendly all year round. Bridlington is a bustling seaside town famous for its lobster, with a busy working harbour. Lots to do for all ages with amusement arcades, pubs, restaurants, fish shops & leisure centre which has a large swimming pool. South Beach is an extensive sandy beach and is a favourite with families. Take the land train from the Park & Ride (South) which travels north of Bridlington to the village of Sewerby and back. Sewerby Hall is worth a visit with its beautiful gardens, small zoo & stately home. The RSPB bird sanctuary at Bempton is a few mins drive away and at the right time of year you will see the Puffins in their natural habitat. Bargain Buys & Park Rose cafe are next door with dog friendly pubs in Carnaby village.
