Carlotta Nani
Welcome!
I am a PhD candidate in Development Economics at the Geneva Graduate Institute and a Research Fellow at the Centre for Finance and Development.
I am interested in experimental economics. My research focuses on drivers and potential solutions to persisting gender gaps in decision-making, labour force participation and financial inclusion.
In my job market paper, I use a lab experiment to investigate how gender stereotypes about women's skills shape intra-household dynamics, in rural Bangladesh.
Prior to the PhD, I worked at the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW, Berlin), the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the International Labor Organization (ILO).
