Carlo Caligiuri
I'm an Energy Engineer, with a research-oriented background in the field of fluid machines and energy systems.
After my graduation in Energy Engineering at the University of Calabria, I started dealing with energy systems for my PhD at the Free University of Bolzano where I am currently working as a researcher. I have been involved in projects focused on the use of alternative fuels in micro-cogeneration systems, the forestry biomass valorisation, and the thermal management of li-ion cells in hybrid vehicles. My main research interests include the optimal use and integration of renewable energy technologies, as well as their numerical modelling and experimental characterisation.
