About Me

I graduated in Physics (Master's Degree) at the University of Naples Federico II in 1999. My doctorate in mathematics was earned at the University of Rome (2000-2004). I studied as a visiting student at the Lawrence Berkeley National Lab in 2002–2003 while pursuing my PhD. I started working as a mathematical analysis researcher at the University of Naples Federico II in 2005. I received the Carlo Miranda Prize for Mathematical Analysis in 2008. In 2013, I was awarded the Alexander von Humboldt Research Fellowship for Experienced Researchers. Since 2017, I have been a Full Professor in Mathematical Analysis at the University of Naples Federico II. In 2022, I became a member of the Accademia Pontaniana. I am the coordinator of the PhD program Matematica e Applicazioni (at the Math Department of the University of Naples Federico II) and a member of the board of the PhD program MPHS (Mathematical and Physical Sciences for Advanced Materials and Technologies at Scuola Superiore Meridionale).
