Signed on the base on the left 

Known for his allegories,  warriors, figures extolling patriotic virtues, heroes, historical or mythological characters .

Bronze GAUDEZ Adrien (1845 1902). 

DAVID before Saul. 

Staff remember the brewery January 16, 1893.

Entry to the fine arts in 1862, he started at the Salon two years later. 

In 1870, a prisoner of war in Magdeburg, Germany, he sculpted the monument to French soldiers dead Remiremont and a Reaper, bronze statue for the Parc Monceau. 

At the show, his bronzes are few. One can cite, Furthermore the Reapers (1888), Watteau (1890) The genius of electricity (1897), Reaper (1899).
