Holiday Interview with Mr. Soto

Question: What is a holiday tradition you take part in?

Mr. Soto participates in a “Secret Santa” exchange every year with his adult relatives. When asked about the best gift he’s received during the annual Secret Santa exchange, he struggled to answer. However, he quickly recalled the worst gift he received, which was a book about how to make pasta.

Holiday Interview with Mr. Savino

Question: What is your favorite part of the holiday season?

Mr. Savino has his whole family over his house for Christmas, and goes to 4:30 PM mass every year for the holidays. After church, everyone goes back to his house for dinner, which he said feels like it lasts forever.

Holiday Interview with Mr. Walsh

Question: What’s something you do with your family every year during the holidays?

Mr. Walsh said his family is very particular about what Christmas tree they get every year, and says sometimes it’ll take them hours to pick the perfect one. They’ll drive to all different Christmas tree lots, searching for the best one.

Holiday Interview with Mr. Robins

Question: How will you be spending your holiday break?

Mr. Robins will be spending his vacation time with his family. His daughter is home from school in South Carolina, and he says it's always a good time when the family is together. He wishes everyone Happy Holidays and a Merry Christmas.

Holiday Interview with Mr. Hawrusik

Question: What is a holiday tradition you take part in?

Mr. Hawrusik says that he and his wife are starting a new holiday tradition with his two sons. They will be baking and decorating gingerbread cookies on Christmas Eve. Rather, he says his wife will be baking, while his sons cover the kitchen in icing. Mr. Hawrusik says that instead of using cookie cutters of little people, they will be using bears, rhinos, dachshunds and dinosaurs. They will also draw holiday sweaters on them.

Holiday Interview with Mr. Englis

Question: What is a holiday tradition you take part in?

Mr. Englis likes to spend time with his family and watch Christmas movies while eating food. Additionally, when Mr. Englis runs or drives around, he likes to look at the Christmas lights around the neighborhood. His favorite Christmas movies are Home Alone 1 & 2, and his favorite Christmas food is turkey and different appetizers.
