Overview
CareLedger is a medication routine and dose history app. It helps users enter medicines, schedules, household profiles, dose logs, and related notes so they can review routine activity on their own device. The app is designed for personal organization and does not provide medical advice.
Information We Collect
CareLedger may store information entered by the user, including profile names, profile colors, medication names, dosage text, medication form, schedule timing, notes, dose log status, scheduled dose time, recorded dose time, and app settings such as the selected theme and active profile.
This information is designed to be stored locally on the user's device using local app storage unless a feature chosen by the user or the operating system transfers information outside the app.
Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect
CareLedger is not designed to intentionally collect precise location, contacts, photos, microphone recordings, camera data, health platform data, government ID, financial information, passwords, messages, or sensitive personal information beyond the medication routine information the user chooses to enter.
How We Use Information
The app uses stored information to display medication schedules, show today's dose status, save dose history, calculate simple routine summaries, manage profiles, remember app preferences, and improve the local user experience.
Data Sharing
CareLedger does not sell user data. The inspected source code does not include account creation, cloud sync, analytics, advertising SDKs, crash reporting SDKs, or export/share services. Optional contribution purchases, if used, are processed through Google Play Billing; payment information is handled by Google Play and is not directly collected by the developer.
Third-Party Services
The app uses Google Play Billing for optional in-app contribution purchases. The app uses a WebView to display a hosted privacy policy page and includes internet permission for that purpose. The app uses Hive local storage libraries to store app data on the device.
Data Storage and Security
CareLedger stores app data locally on the user's device through local storage. Reasonable platform safeguards apply to app data storage, but the inspected source code does not implement custom encryption. Users should protect their device with system security features such as a passcode, biometric lock, or operating system security updates.
Data Retention and Deletion
Locally stored data remains on the device until the user deletes it, uses the in-app Delete All Data option, clears app data through the operating system, or uninstalls the app. The Delete All Data option clears profiles, medications, dose history, and settings, then recreates a default local profile.
Children’s Privacy
CareLedger is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. Children should use medication tracking tools only with appropriate parent, guardian, or caregiver involvement.
User Choices
Users can add, edit, archive, or delete supported medication and profile records where the app provides those controls. Users can log dose actions, change the app theme, clear local app data where supported, uninstall the app, or contact support with privacy questions.
Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. When changes are made, the effective date will be updated.
