CareerFluent ("the App") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information the App uses and how.
Information We Do Not Collect
The App does not require account creation or sign-up. We do not collect your name, email, or any personal identifiers on our own servers, because the App does not operate a backend server or database.
Microphone and Speech Recognition
The App uses your device's microphone and Apple's built-in Speech Recognition to let you practice speaking English. Voice processing happens through Apple's system frameworks, and is used only to convert your speech to text within the App.
Third-Party AI Service
To power English Coaching, Interview Coaching, and CV feedback features, the App sends the text you type or speak to OpenAI's API to generate a response. This text may be processed by OpenAI in accordance with their own privacy policy. No personal identifiers are attached to these requests by the App.
Purchases and Subscriptions
Subscription purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. The App does not collect or store your payment or card details; Apple manages all billing.
Data Stored on Your Device
Your progress, streaks, flashcards, CV drafts, and settings are stored locally on your device. This data is not transmitted to us and is removed if you delete the App.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page.
