Car Rainbow is a spotting game for car rides: four free games where kids look out of the window and tap what they find, plus five optional themed packs.

Frequently asked questions

I bought a pack and it is not showing up

Open Settings → Restore purchases. Packs are permanent and tied to the Apple Account that bought them, so restoring works on any device signed in to that account. If the pack still does not appear, email us with the date of purchase.

Do I need an internet connection?

Only to buy a pack. Every game plays fully offline — no wifi, no data plan, no account.

How do I change the app's language?

iOS manages this per app. Open Settings → Language in Car Rainbow, which opens the iOS Settings page for the app, and pick from the eight supported languages: English, German, Spanish, French, Hungarian, Italian, Portuguese and Romanian.

There are too many things to find for my child

Every game's contents can be adjusted. Open Settings, choose a game, and switch individual colours, items or letters off. A minimum stays on so a round is always playable.

How do I stop my child buying something?

Packs and tips are only reachable from Settings — nothing is ever offered during a game. Every purchase is additionally protected by a parental gate that asks a two-digit sum, and locks for 30 seconds after three wrong answers. For stronger control, use Screen Time → Content & Privacy Restrictions → iTunes & App Store Purchases on the device, or Ask to Buy if your child has a Family Sharing account.

How do I ask for a refund?

Purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds go through Apple rather than us: visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with the Apple Account that made the purchase. Email us as well if something in the app caused the problem, so we can fix it.

Reset my stats

Open Stats → Reset stats. This clears completed rounds and best times only. It does not affect purchased packs or your item selections.

Car Rainbow collects no personal data, shows no advertising, has no user accounts and includes no third-party analytics. Full details are in the privacy policy.
