Hello, everyone! I've experienced an oddity with Candy Crush Saga's Episode Race. I've realized that an episode lasts for a total of fifteen levels. However, what I believe happened in my case was that I was offline by the time I finished level 275 (at the last level of an episode), and upon logging into the game this morning (I was on level 279), I received the 5 Gold for winning second place notification (which I thought was the previous episode ending) and the button above the map screen that shows your race status, it said, "Complete level 279 to start the race." Upon winning the level, the new episode began and I had started the episode at level 280 while the other four players started on the normal level 276. I was confused as to why the race began at level 280.

At first I thought it was a glitch that the episode after level 275 suddenly cut short at level 279, but then I began to suspect that my device had disconnected from the internet (since I play on a tablet and use Wi-Fi) before finishing the previous episode and that's why I was able to start ahead of the other players in the new episode. Sometimes I "X" out of menus and notifications without really reading their content, which is why I don't remember if I received the notification after beating level 275. Normally I knew that the game will not hand you the Gold pieces until you connect to the internet again, but I thought the race itself and its status (first place, second place) began in the background of the program despite no internet connection. I noticed that when I connected to the internet again, not only am I able to view the status of the race, but the race itself also began on the same level I reconnected.

@jason313 Hi and welcome, As far as i am aware if you played offline you would only get the progress you got when reconnecting. So say you finish a race and were off line when you reconnect and it logs you progress if two players had completed online then you would get 3rd as you would be 3rd to register to the server. Never really tried playing episode race offline but that is my understanding of it

Before you can use offline maps in your watch you need to setup a wireless network connection in Suunto app and download the selected map area to your watch. You will get a notification on your watch when the map download is complete.

Will Motorsport 2023 allow us to play offline? Also, will there be a free play or quick race option outside of career mode, where we can simply choose a track location, and a car, perhaps choose a weather condition

and time of day, then play a race?

Esaki answered my question in one of the interviews (july?) regarding offline play.

He said that everything what needs a save will be forced online (for du** reasons).

And he mentioned free play will be playable offline.

Everything is worse: Way longer load/connection times, waiting in the lobby, not able to exactly choose what you wanna do, annoying people screaming/singing/eating in there mic (and of course there will be no option to mute all players in general) and then getting (intentionally or not) crashed into the first corner.

Not sure, if you are just uninformed and want to be right or just straight up lying, but this is not true.

It is not possible to use a Xbox Series X without never being connected, but if you set up everything and downloaded everything you needed, you can pull the plug and never go back online with it.

In the latest editions of my books on digital marketing and in our Smart Insights members resources, we feature the Smart Insights RACE planning framework for creating and managing a digital strategy. I originally developed this in 2010 since our research showed that many businesses were using digital marketing, without a strategic approach.

The idea behind the RACE marketing planning model is to provide a simple structure for companies to develop a digital marketing or omnichannel communications plan which meets the challenges of reaching and engaging online audiences to prompt conversion to online or offline sales. It is structured around the classic marketing funnel with the goals shown in this diagram.

You can learn more about how to apply RACE, SOSTAC and other models using the free Smart Insights downloads summarizing classic marketing models and digital marketing models. They were created by CIM tutor and Cranfield School of Management lecturer Annmarie Hanlon in collaboration with us to provide a free reference for students and professionals looking to apply models to businesses. Smart Insights Free membership also includes templates developed by Dave Chaffey and colleagues for creating marketing and digital marketing plans.

This video explainer from Dave Chaffey explains the thinking behind the creation of the RACE planning framework and gives a different visualisation from the examples in this post. I also have another video explaining how to integrate SOSTAC and RACE together.

To summarise RACE Dan Bosomworth, our marketing director at the time and co-founder of the agency First10 created what has become a popular infographic structured around RACE in 2012 and I updated it in 2015 as shown below. It shows the Key measures to set targets for and evaluate at each stage of the funnel.

Although RACE is often cited as a digital marketing framework and it was indeed developed to emphasize the importance of digital marketing interactions RACE and create integrated digital plans, it has always been aimed at managing both online AND offline marketing communications to increase sales through digital AND traditional channels.

For many Americans, going online is an important way to connect with friends and family, shop, get news and search for information. Yet today, 7% of U.S. adults say they do not use the internet, according to a Pew Research Center survey conducted Jan. 25-Feb. 8, 2021.

Pew Research Center regularly studies technology adoption among U.S. adults. This analysis focuses on the rates of internet adoption among Americans based on a survey of 1,502 U.S. adults conducted Jan. 25-Feb. 8, 2021, by cellphone and landline phone. The survey is weighted to be representative of the U.S. adult population by gender, race, ethnicity, age, household income, education and community type. Here are the questions, responses and methodology used for this report.

The share of offline adults ages 50 to 64 has dropped 8 percentage points since 2019, from 12% to 4%. The shares of offline Black and Hispanic adults have also fallen significantly during that period, from 15% to 9% among those who are Black and from 14% to 5% among those who are Hispanic.

Then start the RACE RESULT Web Server through the Window start menu. It acts as a local web server, so it feeds your web browser with the RACE RESULT 12 website (what is usually done by the servers in the RACE RESULT data center).

It is not possible to work on a file both online and offline at the same time, as such you cannot access the file online anymore after the checkout, and checkout is only possible if the online registration is not active.

You can also download a copy of the event file while the original remains online. This is also possible while the online registration is still running. Therefore check the option Download a copy of this event, original remains online:

When working offline you can use Online Forwarding to forward your changes made offline to the file online. This way, my.raceresult.com has access to the latest race data and can show live results. Since only the changes will be forwarded to the Internet, there is only little data to be transferred such that even a 3G connection is sufficient in most cases.

When starting online forwarding, if you have any participants which have not been activated then you will be prompted to activate these, the Web Server will then automatically download the required number of credits and activate your participants. You cannot start online forwarding without first activating all participants. Participants created after online forwarding is started will not be activated automatically, this gives you the chance to delete unwanted records, but does mean that new genuine participants are filled with underscores until activated by you.

As long as Online Forwarding runs, the RACE RESULT Web Server shows the amount of data transmitted on the list of events behind the event ID. Should the online forwarding stop, for example when your internet connection brakes down, you will receive a warning.

When work is done on race day, you can check the event file back in. Note that afterwards, you cannot access the event offline anymore but instead you need to log in again on www.raceresult.com to access the event.

To check in the file click Online->Move this Event to Server (Check-In). The upload may need a few seconds or minutes depending on the file size and the speed of your connection. The column Online shows the progress.

As the Race Director, you are able to manually enter registration information via our Import feature. This is beneficial for Race Directors wanting to add registrants who paid offline (cash or check) or wants to register a participant without them registering for the Race.

There is no cost for this, and with RunSignUp you can be assured the names will stay confidential - we do not spam your runners. With all of your runner information in one place, you can then easily do reports (such as how many S, M, L and XL shirts were ordered).

Most of our Race Directors prefer to use the single entry import as they receive offline payments at irregular times but occasionally there are Race Directors who creates a list of registrants who paid offline so that they could import their registrations all at once. Either way, both options achieve the same results. 152ee80cbc
