 ITEMS PROVIDED TO WOMEN IN NEED          

Our goal is to have an impact on the displaced women in our communities and we seek to have local businesses recognize the need and benefits by partnering with us.  We are listed as a 501c3 tax-exempt.  With our women seeking Day Labor work, we receive many applications from women seeking immediate income, this can benefit both the employer and the women needing that day's wages.  Ideally, if the relationship is successful it would become full employment.   Just remember we are only a resource, not an employment agency.  Your monthly sponsorship for a minimum of twelve months will also provide you with a banner on our parent website.

How We Reach The Community As a Charity

We participate in Various Market Day Events in Austin and the surrounding cities

Reaching the homeless community face to face and giving them the support available to us like our Adopt A Basket

Our volunteers are a great part of what helps us keep going.  

We insert our monthly partners materials in our brochures before heading out to our tabling event every week.

We make it our mission to strategically place our table everywhere you need us to be.  Reaching those who can and those who cannot make a difference.  We fill our schedule every month with where to go next and say hello making new friends along the way.  If you are a member of a church or other organization and would like our table to come visit you let us know.  We are always seeking partners to come with us on this journey as we can't do it alone.  As a small charity, it means a great deal to us to have sponsorship support although nothing stops our train from moving full speed ahead.  If this is a program you'd like to learn more about as a decision-maker of your company we welcome to hear from you and answer any questions you may have.  Email Paige Nelson at theruthprogram@gmail.com
