Capture Draw is a Chrome extension that allows users to select an area of a webpage by drawing a circle and capture that area as an image.
Your privacy is important to us. Capture Draw is designed to operate locally in your browser and does not collect or transmit personal information.
Capture Draw does not collect, sell, or share personal information.
We do not collect:
Names or email addresses
Passwords or authentication information
Financial or payment information
Precise location information
Browsing history
IP addresses for tracking purposes
User activity or analytics data
Website content for collection or tracking purposes
When you use Capture Draw, the extension temporarily accesses the visible content of the active browser tab in order to create the screenshot requested by you.
The selected area is processed locally by the extension.
Screenshots are not uploaded to our servers, stored in a remote database, or transmitted to us.
The resulting image remains under your control.
When you choose the save option, Capture Draw uses Chrome's download functionality to save the generated PNG image to your computer.
Capture Draw does not receive or store a copy of the saved image on an external server.
Capture Draw provides an optional sharing function when supported by the browser.
Sharing only occurs when the user explicitly chooses the share option.
The extension does not automatically share screenshots or send them to third parties.
The destination and handling of the shared image are determined by the browser and the service selected by the user.
Capture Draw includes an optional "Support this project" link.
If the user clicks this link, the browser opens our Ko-fi page:
Capture Draw does not transmit personal information to Ko-fi through the extension.
Any information provided to Ko-fi is subject to Ko-fi's own privacy policy and terms of service.
Capture Draw does not use:
Advertising trackers
Analytics services
Tracking pixels
Cookies for extension tracking
User profiling
Behavioral monitoring
Because Capture Draw does not collect or transmit user data to our servers, there is no user database maintained by Capture Draw.
The extension relies on Chrome's built-in security mechanisms and browser APIs to perform its functions.
Capture Draw does not knowingly collect personal information from children or from any other users.
