Are you curious about capacity development in the marine and coastal realm? Come join the Blue Solutions Booth!

The Blue Solutions initiative focuses on global knowledge exchange and capacity development for marine and coastal biodiversity. Our CapDev session will present the series of trainings and approaches we have developed to enhance capacities in marine spatial planning, sustainable blue economy and leadership of national and regional authorities and organizations in Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, Central and South America.

The event will showcase collaborations we have embarked on that have helped develop national marine spatial planning initiatives, marine governance strategies and regional collaboration. Together with our partners we will reflect on experiences in capacity development, Blue Solutions’ adaptation from in-person to virtual formats due to the current global situation, the global network of trainers we have helped foster and support and our plans for long-term sustainability of the courses.
