Building global capacity to identify and map Key Biodiversity Areas

This session will showcase the various tools available to learn about how to apply the Key Biodiversity Areas (KBA) criteria as outlined in the KBA Standard. Training materials have been developed together with an online training course that guide users through the process of identifying a site as a KBA and then formally proposing it for inclusion in the World Database of KBAs.
