Healthy Kids Fun Run– October 1, 2021

The Healthy Kids Fun Run program promotes a healthy lifestyle using a curriculum that outlines the foundations of proper nutrition, fitness and exercise. The Fun Run Team promotes positive character traits and anti-bullying; stressing the importance of being a good friend and citizen.


Dine & Donate– August 25th, November 3rd, January 26th, February 23rd, March 30th & May 18th

Let's take a night off from making dinner and order from a local restaurant supporting our Mighty Oaks. Participating in our Dine and Donate events is easy. Simply show our flyer at the participating restaurant when placing your order and the restaurant will donate a percentage from all proceeds to Canyon Oaks to benefit our students.


Halloween Trunk-Or-Treat– October 29th, 2021

We are partnering with the City of American Canyon, Napa Junction Elementary and American Canyon Middle School PTO's to host a Spooktacular community drive-thru event with candy and costumes! Come join us at the Phillips Aquatic Center's Parking Lot for Halloween treats (while supplies last)!


Harvest Festival– Returning in 2022/2023

Each Fall our school community comes together to celebrate with food, games, music, candy and costumes! This is a great opportunity to for our students and families to mingle. Stay tuned for more details and opportunities to volunteer to make this a great homecoming event for our Mighty Oaks.


Family STEAM Night– November 18, 2021 & March 18, 2022

It's FAMILY STEAM NIGHT at Canyon Oaks! Mighty Oaks (and their families) will have the opportunity to join us (virtually) for a night of FUN! Brick Space will lead several activities to engage students and families in all things Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math! Canyon Oaks families will have the opportunity to register for one (1) session for the entire family!


Canyon Oaks Toy Drive– November 30th-December 11th, 2021

The generosity of our Canyon Oaks school community shines brightest during the holiday season during our Toy Drive! Our students (and their families) help make the holidays special for other families in our community by donating new, unwrapped toys. Opportunities to sponsor a family are also available through our school's Principal and Parent Liaison. We appreciate your holiday spirit and will share more details following our Thanksgiving break.

Penguin Patch Holiday Shop– December 7th-December 9th, 2021

Stay tuned for more details about our Penguin Patch Holiday Shop. This event teaches kids about managing a budget, thinking of others and supporting our school while having a blast blast picking out their Christmas and holiday gifts for their family & friends! Click here to see our flyer.

Spring Arts Festival– April 2nd, 2022

We can't wait to share more details about our 16th Annual Spring Arts Festival – Silent Auction & Raffle. This festival is one of our largest fundraising events of the school year! 100% of the proceeds go back to the school to help pay for classroom & art supplies, technology equipment, Art, safety provisions, field trips, after school programs (i.e., Garden Club) and so much more!


School Dance Party– Returning in 2022/2023

Polish off your dancing shoes! Our School Dance Party is one of our most popular events for our parents and students. We hope you will join us for a night of the best dance hits, refreshments, selfie stations and show off your best dance moves! Don't miss the beat and stay tuned for more details in the Fall!


Muffins for Moms | Donuts for Dads– Coming Spring 2022

We appreciate our Canyon Oaks Moms and Dads! You help us create a strong and connected school community where our little acorns grow into Mighty Oaks! The Canyon Oaks PTO hosts two events (Muffins for Moms & Donuts for Dads) to celebrate you and say, "THANK YOU!" Make sure to check back to get more details on when and where we are hosting a morning just for you!
