The primary purpose of Welcome Committee is to orient new neighbors to our community and help them feel at home.
A Welcome Committee member will meet with property owners or renters at their convenience. The welcome visit will:
1. Determine if the resident has received a copy of the governing documents (covenants, bylaws, and ARC Criteria).
2. Ensure the resident has on-going access to the governing documents via the CLE website. Provide a written copy of documents if requested.
3. Determine if the resident has received a key to the Clubhouse/Park Lake from the previous owner. If not, Welcome will issue a key (no charge). Keys for renters will be issued to the property owner.
4. Review an information packet which includes:
a. Community contacts (Board of Directors, Committee Chairs, Property Management Company, access to the CLE website).
b. CLE amenities and rules (Clubhouse, Pool, Tennis/Pickleball, Boat/RV Storage, and Lakes).
c. CLE map.
d. Assessment fee information.
e. Resources and attractions in the surrounding community.
f. Pet welcome packet (for residents who own pets).
5. Collect resident preferences for continuing to receive and share information including phone numbers and email addresses.
6. Conduct a brief tour of the Clubhouse and pool with information about how to utilize the facility.
7. Answer any questions the resident might have or direct them to the appropriate person to answer their questions.
Welcome Committee coordinates with other Committee Chairs and the Board of Directors to ensure newcomers receive the information they need in a timely manner.
