If you buy a printer, then check it is equipped with USB cable. First, you should connect the USB cable to the laptop or computer and to the printer. After this, you should place the printer just closer to your computer. Now, you should Turn on the printer. Then the printers will automatically run the installation process on the computer or laptop screen.

If installation process not happens, then tap on Start and then hit on Devices and Printer and then Settings and go to Devices and then tap on Printers & Scanners. Now, you should tap on Add a printer or scanner which is located at the top of the screen. At this point, the computer will automatically scan the connected printer. Here, you should select the one according to our printer model.

If printer name does not appear, then tap on the search button so that computer scans for printer driver. In case, you do not find the printer driver, then you should download the driver software. At last, you should Restart the laptop or computer.

To install a printer, you should open the settings application. After this, you should select a printer. Now, you should tap on the padlock image which is present at the top right side to change the settings. Here, you should tap on + button which is at the bottom of the panel. Then, a new window displays which says Add a new printer. At this point, you will view the printer and then tap on Add button. At last, the installation procedure will run.

For this, you should open the site of canon.com/ijsetup. After this, you should choose and then download software for your printer. Then, the drivers which is downloaded in the form of WinRAR files, so you should extract them. Now, you should right-tap on the file and then hit on Extract here. At this point, you should tap on file which has EXE existence just to start installing. Here, you should follow all the steps of the installation process. Then, you should Restart the laptop or computer when the installation is finish. Next, you should connect the printer to a laptop after restarting by using built-in cable. If your printer connection has Wi-Fi, then check the Wi-Fi is ON and checks the laptop is connected to the Wi-Fi.

For this, first you should prepare the Driver CD. Now, you should Insert the CD into the Driver ROM. Then, you should enter the installation page. Here, you should follow the installation steps. When the installation is complete, then the Driver CD can be ejected. In case, printer Driver CD is not properly installed, then you need to install a new Driver CD.
