7. By doing so, the file will start downloading. As the download process may take a few minutes so you need to wait for its completion. Do not close the window or turn off your system in between the process. Otherwise, the file will stop downloading.

8. When the canon setup file is successfully downloaded, it will automatically be saved in the Downloads folder. But if you want to save in some other folder, you are required to do it manually.

Steps to Setup Canon Wired Printer from Canon.com/ijsetup

Here is a process through which you can connect your canon printer using USB Cable:

1. Make sure your printer is turned on.

2. Obtain a USB cable to connect your printer to your computer.

3. Now, go to the canon.com/ijsetup or www.canon.com/ijsetup page.

4. Enter your printer Model number.

5. Download the recommended software to your computer.

6. Open the downloaded file and run the software application.

7. Follow the steps while setting up your printer on the network as recommended during the Canon Printer installation process.

8. When prompted to choose a connection type, select USB to continue the setup.

9. Your printer is now connected. Try to print and scan to check if your printer is functioning properly
