Canon Eos Utility 2 Download Windows 10

After reading that thread I decided to unplug the other USB devices I had in the computer at the time (Garmin Watch, USB key, smart phone) and turn off the camera. I then turned on the camera and ran the EOS utility and it found my camera and worked correctly.

but if you edit the shortcut in the startup folder to start "eos utility 2" (leave the rest of the shortcut in place) it will bring up the utility apparently in a different mode (or another version of it :)) that will recognize the camera as soon as you conect it (and switch it on :))

I'm having the same problem. Just upgraded to Windows 10. Can't connect my 70D via USB or Wireless. EOS utility only shows 2 buttons. One says Pairing over WiFi/Lan the other is Cancel.

Camera screen looks ok. Says to start software on PC. EOS utility is running.

I am holding off on Win 11 upgrades for a year in order to let the dust settle. Still hoping Canon will port DPP and utilities over to Linux which is a far more stable OS that is much cleaner. My HP Z820 and Z840 both came dual boot with Linux and Windows installed and the only time I boot the workstations into Windows anymore is for DPP and EOS utility (I use EOS to transfer files via ethernet from my 1DX series bodies to the network).

I try to pair it with my EOS M10 in windows 10 but it always come up with error :''WFT Firewall Settings has stopped working'', May i know how you did with the language settings ? did you mean the OS language setting ?

I know this is probably covered in a previous thread, but I did a search and seen no corresponding threads.

Just went to download the utility software from the Canon website and when I found the RP software, it said it was not compatible with my Windows 10 (x64).

This is 2020... what is going on?

I wanted to update the existing 1.1.0 firmware with the newst 1.4.0 version, but going to wait now.

I'm not going through the hassle of running an older version of windows, I did not want to move to Windows 10 from Windows 7, but was forced to for the devices I needed to run... I much preferred Windows 7, which is no longer supported by Microsoft.

Suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated

So I just downloaded the EOS webcam utility, hoping to use my 200D for some video calls - and then it turns out they failed to mention on the website that it only works on Windows 10. I found some articles saying people successfully ran the beta version on Windows 7, so I suppose they just built a "cancel installation if not Windows 10" check into the installer at a later date.
