Camilo Angulo

I am a Postdoctoal Fellow at the School of Mathematics of Jilin University in Changchun, China. I was previously appointed as a FAPERJ Nota 10 Postdoctoral Fellow at the Insitute of Mathematics and Statistics at Universidade Federal Fluminense in Niteroi, in the State of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil.

I earned my Ph.D. degree in Mathematics from the University of Sao Paulo, under the supervision of Cristian Ortiz. Before that, I held teaching positions at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and Universidad de los Andes back home in Bogotá, Colombia, after spending a year taking part in the Master Class 2010/2011 - Moduli spaces at Utrecht University.

My research interests revolve around Poisson geometry. I am particularly interested in higher categorical structures and their connections to symplectic and Poisson geometry.

Here is my CV.
