CLOTHING

Please make sure your child is dressed appropriately for PE activities (i.e. tennis shoes and comfortable clothing). A schedule of our special classes, including art, gym, library, music, and computers, will be sent home. 

SCHOOL/HOME COMMUNICATION  

Every child will receive a home folder. PLEASE check this folder every day, as important paperwork and information will be brought home this way. In addition, please use this folder to send notes, lunch money, etc., to school with your child, as it will be your child's responsibility to turn their folder in to me each day. Students will also receive a planner. Daily homework will be recorded in the planner. We encourage you to also check your child's planner each night. 

You will also receive a weekly newsletter with important information for the week. This will be a great way to help keep you informed about what is happening in our classroom. 

In addition, I will be using the REMIND app to communicate with families. I will be able to send information, pictures, reminders, etc. through this app. You will also be able to direct message me through this app. If you have not signed up for this, please visit the Contact Information page for instructions to sign up. 

HOMEWORK

Homework in fourth grade varies from day to day. Homework will recorded in students' planners. We encourage you to check your child's planner each night. Unless otherwise noted, homework is expected to be returned the following day. 

CONFERENCES 

Parents are invited to attend two parent/teacher conferences held in October and February. I will provide additional information as those dates arrive.
