Volunteer at Cando Schools
We love having volunteers helping us with our daily work and giving back to the community. You will live with a Cambodian family, get an insight into our culture and be part of the daily school life. We are always looking for open-minded people who would like to share their skills, knowledge and passion with the children of Cando School. They are curious about your life and experiences.
We are looking for:
Volunteers
Open-minded, extroverted and enthusiastic people with a passion for teaching others (minimum stay 2 weeks).Interns
Students who would like to do an internship for a couple of months (we can provide a letter for visa application).

The weekly schedule
• Morning class: 7am to 11am
• Afternoon class: 2pm to 4pm
• Evening class: 5pm to 7pm
This is our weekly schedule from Monday til Friday. Your work hours will be in the morning and afternoon, around 5 hours per day. The tasks can vary from teaching, playing with the kids or helping with work around the house. If you have any other ideas we are very open to your input! On the weekends you get some free time to explore the surrounding areas.
Our schools
We have three different locations: Kampot, Chumkiri and Pangsey. Each location is a bit different and has its own advantages and challenges. In Kampot you will be close to a city with restaurants and places to go. Pangsey school on the other hand is located in the rural area and gives you an unforgettable and real insight into the Cambodian life on the countryside.
