This policy explains how the Buraco Counter app (formerly Canastra Counter), developed by Valer Tecnologia LTDA, handles your information. It applies to the Android (Google Play) and iOS (App Store) versions of the app.
Buraco Counter has no sign-up or login. Team names, scores, match history and your settings are saved only on your device. We do not receive or store this data on any server.
On Android, the system may include this data in your Google Account backup if backup is turned on for the device. Google performs that backup according to your account settings.
The final score image is created on your device and is only sent to another app when you tap Share and choose where to send it.
The app shows ads from Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google may collect:
your device's advertising ID;
your IP address and the approximate location derived from it;
device information such as model, operating system and language;
interactions with ads, such as views and taps.
Google collects and processes this data under the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and its page on how Google uses information from partner apps (https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites).
You can reset or delete your advertising ID and turn off ad personalization in your device settings (on Android, under Settings > Google > Ads).
If you allowed usage and diagnostics sharing on your device, Google Play (or Apple, on iOS) may send us crash and performance reports for the app. These reports do not tell us who you are and are used only to fix bugs.
The app uses Google Firebase (Analytics and Crashlytics) to understand, in aggregate, how the app is used and to receive crash reports. It collects usage events (for example, screens opened and matches started), device information and an app identifier, without your name, email or other data that identifies you. Google processes this data under the Google Privacy Policy. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, usage statistics follow the choice you make in the consent form shown on first launch.
When Premium is available, purchases and subscriptions are processed by the App Store (Apple) or Google Play. We do not receive your card details or other payment data; we only receive confirmation that the purchase is valid, so the app can unlock Premium.
We do not sell your data. Apart from Google and Apple, in the cases described above, no data is shared with third parties.
App data stays on your device until you delete it. You can delete everything at any time by clearing the app's data in your device settings or by uninstalling the app. Ad data is kept by Google under its own policy, and you can manage it at https://myaccount.google.com.

Buraco Counter is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us so we can delete it.
Because app data stays on your device, keeping it safe also depends on your device's own security, such as its screen lock.
We may update this policy. When we do, the new version will be posted on this page with its update date.
