I have been using an Apple watch (series 7 non cellular) since january. Since start I've had trouble with Spotify. About one out of three times, it will not play my already downloaded songs (nothing happens when you press play). Restarting/reinstalling app or rebooting watch does not work. The only thing that works is going home to my iphone and playing something from the phone to the watch. After that offline works again.

I've also had trouble transferring songs, it either wont start or is very slow. Downloaded playlists can't be updated with new content, etc. Since these bugs haven't been fixed for a long time and I need to be able to listen on my watch I'm looking more and more on Apple Music. It seems silly having to switch app over what seems like small bugs.

Same issues for me - I have the apple watch SE. Theres a new issue too, the pending downloads are disappearing from the downloads section on the watch, only reappearing when i try to download an additional song/podcast. As always, downloads taking forever

For people who question Apple Music or Spotify, Apple Music was built with Apple's internal engineers who have the ability to just test trial Apple Music on Apple Watch anytime want. However, Spotify has no such relation like that or anything that enables them to do tests or tial runs on Apple Watch, other than beta tests. As Spotify is constantly updating, there are bound to have bugs, issues, and things that require fixes. Apple Music can directly build an Apple Watch version, making it much more compatible for all Apple Products, however Spotify wasn't built solely for the purpose of letting users use the software on their Watch, but only for conveniency. Spotify has to run hundreds of files to enable you to listen to music that is downloaded offline.

I have read all sorts of things and followed a lot of links yet still can not download the vudutogo app. I have also looked in the mac app store. Can someone please help me find how to download this app so I can watch my movies offline.

I've been playing Synth riders and my Yur watch always displayed as offline. Because I downloaded another game and in that game it actually displays a code which I used and got it working... I came to realise something is off for me on synth riders. It shows offline, no code is displayed. How to get it to work for this game too ?

Netflix added offline storage within the last year, but I haven't really heard many people talking about it. Keeping your shows stored offline will allow you to watch them when you don't have a Wi-Fi or cellular connection, like on an underground train, on an airplane (the Wi-Fi on planes still largely blocks streaming services) or out in the woods on a camping trip.

That is true, but I also don't want to be chewing up the bandwidth when someone is trying to watch a 4k movie, while I'm trying to do something on my comptuer. Also Australian NBN can be sometimes unreliable so why not have them downloaded off peak time when the NBN is very stable and just view them later?

As someone said above yes this makes sense, but also still chews up the wifi bandwidth when someone is streaming local contents over wifi. Yes it probably isn't that much if it is 1080p, but i don't want unnecessary use of the wifi bandwidth when I have many devices on the network (smart home stuff). Plus if someone is watching 4k, it might be a struggle for sure.

So Netflix's app actually supports downloading content for viewing offline. It sounds like you actually want to rip the video to video files for permanent keeps. There are ways to do this but this kind of discussion probably isn't even allowed here since it is piracy.

Offline video downloads have ramped up in 2019, with more platforms offering the service to their customers than ever before. As competition gets fiercer, being able to offer offline video on demand is one way for subscription services to compete for valuable customer dollars.

Some of these apps make it easy to find videos you can download, the ones that don't will make you dig a little. Also, keep in mind you can't download any titles you want; you'll have to pick and choose from what these platforms make available. -- Disney Plus is the one exception where the entire catalog is up for grabs. Here's how to find and download shows and movies to watch online on the biggest streaming services.

All titles available for download will show you a download icon shaped like an arrow. Some shows you can download on Netflix are Riverdale, The Office, Supernatural and Stranger Things. Click the icon when you've found a show you want to watch offline. When you're ready to watch the show, it'll be in the Downloads tab.

YouTube allows you to download videos, but you must be a Premium member ($12 per month). If a video is downloadable, it'll have a red icon with a down-facing arrow. Click the icon to start downloading and select the video quality you prefer, which ranges from Low resolution (144p) to High (720p). Once the icon turns blue, it's fully downloaded and is ready to be viewed offline.

When you're ready to watch what you've saved, tap the Downloads icon (iOS) or My Stuff > Downloads (Android). Some shows you can download are Good Omens, Carnival Row and Fleabag (the Prime Originals videos we tried were all eligible for download).

Disney Plus doesn't launch until November 12, but it will let you download all of its shows and movies to watch offline, including the Marvel movies and Disney Pixar animated films. We'll update this section once we have more details.

You can now stream your favorite shows and movies offline with Hulu's new download feature. However, you must be subscribed to the no-ads plan and use an iPhone or iPad. Shows and movies that are available for download on Hulu will have an icon next to their titles. There's also a See What's Downloadable section where you can see the full list of movies and shows that are available for download.

Some of the popular shows you can download are The Handmaid's Tale, How I Met Your Mother and This is Us. After you've selected a show to watch, press the Download button. You've got the option to watch the video in Standard or High definition -- just tap the Downloads icon > Settings > and select your choice of video quality. When you're ready to view the show offline later, you can find them in the Downloads section.

Once you start watching a download, you have 48 hours to finish watching it before it expires. Unwatched downloads expire after 30 days. Once expired, you can renew or delete the download.

I have a plane trip coming up so I wanted to download some videos to watch offline. I selected a video on my Dropbox account to be available Offline, and after it finished downloading I tested it by putting my phone into airplane mode and the video does not play offline. It says "No internet connection." It is in my list of Offline files, and it shows a little purple icon next to it showing that it was downloaded, so why can I not play it offline?

For more context, note that the media player within our mobile app uses the Dropbox servers to stream and transcode media. While offline, we default to Apple's media player, so items that are not native (not filmed or recorded on an iOS device) may not be able to play within our application.

When you make a file available offline, the file is stored locally on the device. For non-native file types, you can open them in another application that supports those file types. Alternatively, there are other third party applications that can convert the files to natively playback on iOS devices.

I just updated the Dropbox app to the newest version released today. It still won't play that .mkv file, it says "couldn't load file there was an error loading the file." I tried it with an .mp4 and that one did play offline. Is it the format? It plays the .mkv fine when connected. 2351a5e196
