Solid and versatile Bolivian Bass player

Laguna is one of the most requested bass players in the local scene, for his versatility and groove foundation. Laguna studied in Bolivia, Germany, Chile and Mexico in different music schools as well as privately. He works as a recording artist, performer, musical director and producer in Bolivia and Mexico (NB Music). He is working currently as renowned Luzmila Carpio´s musical director; with TAKESI, his band, with which he released 4 albums, TUMPA, PACHAMAMA AND LIVE @FESTIJAZZ 2016 & 2017.

He has performed several music styles among jazz, world music and pop with artists as Luzmila Carpio, Eugenia León, Reyli Barba, Pepe Aguilar, La 5ta Estación, Alejandra Guzmán, Sin Bandera, Amaury Pérez, Pedor Wyant (Beach Boys), Donato Espinoza, Alvaro Montenegro, and the Bolivian National Symphonic Orchestra. He also performed as bass player in several musicals in Mexico an Bolivia. He performed in several stages across the world in North, Center and South America, and Europe. He performed as bass player in the Latin Grammy 11^th Edition and received a Latin Grammy Nomination in 2017. Laguna is a SIRE GUITARS artist. He is also a teacher at the Plurinational Music Conservatory in La Paz Bolivia.
