About Us

Camberwell Music Society (CMS) was formed in 1963 and is one of Australia’s oldest music societies. We are a non-profit organisation, dedicated to presenting an exciting array of classical music performed by national and international artists of the highest calibre.

The Society presents concerts at reasonable costs in an informal and  friendly atmosphere. The intimacy of our concerts enables audiences to immerse themselves in the performances and to interact with the artists over refreshments provided after each event.

From the President...

Fresh from a wonderful year of music in 2024, we are seeking to maintain our standard in 2025.  Even with no increase in our very economical subscription rates and ticket prices, we intend to maintain our reputation as a premier music society.  Our program is full of highlights.  We hope that you will subscribe and enjoy all of it with us.  By doing so, you will help to give us the financial stability of a strong subscription base.  You will enjoy our superb concerts, our convenient location, and the warmth of our convivial refreshments after each concert.  We appreciate very much your support for what we do.
